Seeing patients' babies is one of the bonuses of the job for Dr Christine Cui who specialises in Chinese Medicine Gynaecology.

Dr Cui, who has practised in China and Australia for 18 years, specialises in women's health, treating patients with Chinese herbal medicine and Acupuncture.

Chinese Medicine takes an holistic approach to understanding disease processes and focuses as much on prevention of illness as on the treatment of health conditions. Treatment targets not just the presenting signs and symptoms - it looks at the underlying condition, other health problems and the general state of health and well - being.

Acupuncture treatment will release the "happy hormones"( body chemicals known as Endomorphism), which will effectively provide quick pain relief.

Other Gynaecological and Obstetric Problem are treated by regulation of hormonal function.

Whilst some conditions do respond extremely well to a single treatment, such as painful period, in most cases, a course of treatment may be necessary.

The frequency and duration of that treatment will vary according to your individual condition.  Generally speaking, the longer a patient has had a particular condition, the longer it will take to treat.
